Week 14 Famous Last words

A week before dead week! Dead week is here! I cannot believe that my college career is almost over. Good thing is that since I have couple online classes, I don't have that many finals. It is so hard to concentrate when I am about to graduate. My motivation has left me after I took the senior portrait.

I read some awesome stories by fellow classmates and they were all so creative. Since my major doesn't involve a lot of writing, it was fun to explore other people's writings. My favorite was the birth story storybook.

I am trying to finish this class today so that I can just start working on other classes. I have a final paper due for capstone tomorrow and also a world music paper due on Friday. After I get through all the papers, I will be able to focus on my studies.

Work wasn't too bad. I am getting burned out a little bit, but I think its natural for a person who had the same job for a long time. I will be training the new baristas this week again which won't be that bad.


I had a great weekend. I spent some time with a great friend of mine. I went to a car racing event which was mind-blowing and watched a movie too. The car racing event was exhilarating. There were so many mustangs because it was mustang club event. I was able to ride in my friend's car which has 540 hp. The car event was something different and I hope to go to more of those in the future.

 I watched a movie called Ex Machina. The movie made me think about how technology is dominating our universe now. The movie was great, but I did not like the ending. It is crazy how technology rules this world now and soon, the technology might take over the human population. I would recommend this movie to other people too.

Famous Last Words Week 13

Like every other week, this week have been busy. I had some papers due in my other classes so I had to engage myself with word document. In my Organizational/ Industrial psychology class, I am currently working on a presentation. For my capstone class, I had to visit the mental hospital to go meet my patient. I actually could not go to my world music class because I got called into work early. My online classes are going well.

I can't believe there's only three weeks of school left! After that three weeks, I will no longer be a student anymore. It is crazy to think that I will be an official grown-up now! I think I will be joining the Army after my graduation. I was planning on going to nursing school, but I decided to take a break from school. I've realized that I was very exhausted from going to school and working.

Work was super busy because I had to train two new people. Other than training, work wasn't too bad. Starbucks is coming up with a new summer frappuccino called S'mores frappuccino.

I enjoyed reading other people's writing. Because it's toward the end of the semester, there weren't a lot of stories, but the ones I read were great! I had to do some revision this week for my new story. My favorite story was a story written by Khadija called "The show must go on". The story contained showed thoughts of different characters. The characters were the Pandavas, Duryodhana/Karna, The post clearly showed the protagonists and antagonists mindset. Khadija had a very unique way of writing.


I watched Fast and Furious last week, but I 've been obsessed with the song that they played at the ending scene. It is called See you again by Wiz Khalifa (feat. Charlie Puth). The song made me think of a good friend of mine who is deployed to Abu Dhabi.

Famous Last Words Week 9

This week, I wasn't able to do my diary entries and since I wasn't able to do my diary entries, I wasn't able to do storytelling :( I had a lot going on this week. Because I am graduating this May,I did a lot to prepare my future! I looked for some job offers from different companies and also did some research on military. Originally, I wanted to be a nurse, but my passion for nursing is disappearing so I am just looking at different options. Life is an adventure and I am really unsure about what I will do after graduation.

I enjoyed reading other students writing! A lot of them were so creative and unique! Since I missed out on writing my own, it was nice catching up with the class. By commenting on different stories and blogs, I was able to see diff

My other classes were pretty crazy. Because it was spring break the week after, a lot of my classes had mid terms. I also had to pull a all night on Thursday night for my physiology. The exam was hard, but I was so ready for a break from school! For spring break, I'm planning on going to Texas with my family.

Personally, it was hard for me this week. A good friend of mine was deployed and it was hard for me to get over the emotions. He was supposed to be deployed next month, but it was a sudden noticed from his center commander. I  was planning on spending part of my spring break hanging out with him, but that went out the window. I was so sad he was leaving.

I watched a movie called God's not dead as a study break. It was a such a good movie with many meaning to it. The main character was such a faithful christian. The movie made me look back at my spiritual life.

Famous Last Words Week 8

This week was a busy week!  I went to Dallas on the snow day. Because the weather was fine, I thought it wouldn't get bad on Wednesday. In Dallas, I just shopped with my sister at the Korean town and had good food. I went to this Korean BBQ buffet in Dallas called Omi and they had unlimited meet buffet. I ate so much there! I went with my sister and it took us six hours to get back from Dallas. On the way back, I saw many trucks that were flipped over and there were several cars that just rested on the side of the highway because the road was very slick. It sure was a dangerous drive.

On Friday, I had to go to graduation gear-up to pick up my cap and gown. I also took my senior portrait on the same day. I went with my friend Ashley and we both felt like we were not ready to go out to the real world. College was filled with joy and memories. It felt weird that I am going to graduate because I was in school for the past sixteen years of my life. I don't know for sure what I am going to do after graduation.

I enjoyed class this week. It was nice having a little break from reading and work on looking back at my work. I realized that the comments from other students have helped me improve on my writing. Because different classmates had different thoughts on my writing, it was nice getting different types of comments.

My other classes were not that bad this week. I have a test next week, but because of the snow day, the test schedule might be changed. I just can't wait for Spring break! I don't really have anything planned out other then going to Dallas with my family, it will be nice having a little break from school.

Famous Last Words for Week 5

This week was a busy week! I had to work and there were some assignments I had to finish. Also, my first Physiology test in on Monday so I've been studying for that exam. Work was okay, except the new person that I had to train was a no call no show. Because of that, I had more time to spend at school. Work is getting pretty stressful. I might look for another job soon.

Valentine's Day was great! I met up with a friend and went to dinner. I went to a restaurant called the drum room and they had the best fried chicken! I mentioned that I love going on food adventure and it happened on Valentine's day, which was great! Since it was Valentine's day, I wanted to watch a romace movie. I decided to watch Fault in Our stars. I've always wanted to watch that movie, but I never got a chance to till this Saturday.Since my friend never watched it too, it was perfect! The movie was great, but I didn't cry. Everyone said that it was the saddest movie, but I didn't cry which was surprising.

Next week is going to be busy! I have some exams and lab reports due. I just wish I can just graduate right now. I am pretty nervous about the test tomorrow. I also have couple days off this week which I am pretty excited about. I might enjoy sometime not worrying about school and go spend some more time with friends. I should probably go watch the fifty shades of grey. I wanted to watch that movie, but it was all sold out :(

I enjoyed reading many stories this week. I realized that a lot of the students in my class are very creative. I am starting to get used to the assignments which is great!

Famous Last word for Week 4

This week was a busy week! I had so many assignments due and also had a crazy work schedule.

I was sick on Monday so I was unable to do Diary A, but I put a lot of effort on Diary B.

I wrote Diary B with some bullet points and I think that is a good way for me to write the diary assignment because it makes it easier for me and the reader to understand the main idea of the stories.

I read Nidhi's story and I really liked her story. Her story had full of details and did an awesome job changing the story of Rama's successor story into the fight between the Queens. I think her story was successful because she did a great job changing up the plot a little which added more drama between the character. She also did a great job at organizing the story because it was really easy for me to follow along.

My other classes are going well and I have start studying for exams which are coming up next week!
I am currently taking Human Physiology and it is getting harder and harder every week. I need to find a time to sit down and go over the concepts.

I went to Dallas this weekend to hear Nick Vujicic speak. He is a Christian evangelist who does not have arms or legs, but he turned his weakness into hope. He was talking about how there is hope and that the hope is in God. He also made me realized that there is a never-ending hope even for a person like him. I also volunteered at the autism mission center in Dallas. My church college group went and helped out the the program.

This week made me realize a lot of meaning in life and that I should be thankful for what I have.
